How can I pay?
There are 3 easy ways to make your session payment. The first being PayPal invoice, the second being a check made out to: Stephanie Lawless, and the third being cash. Just let me know which is easiest for you!

What exactly is "Lifestyle Photography"?
There is no clear definition to be found for lifestyle photography but in a nutshell it means I try and capture photos in a more candid nature than a studio porttrait session. I prefer to do outdoor on-site sessions, but in colder weather for babies 1 yr old and younger, we can move them into my home studio. My favorite type of photos are the ones where it seems like you or your little one have no idea that I'm even there:) Those candid moments are the times when you catch the true emotion and personality of someone without them even realizing it.
Do you have a studio?
Studio sessions are reserved for Newborns only. Unfortunately families cannot have a studio setting as all my equipment is baby sized.
For families and older babies, toddlers ,and children I use an outdoor setting, which I find toddlers respond better to. Trying to wrangle an 18 month old into a small 5x6 backdrop can be very daunting. I prefer to chase them around and let them have fun, because that's where you'll capture their genuine personalities and smiles!

What Should I Wear?
The most common question I get! I love the way bright colors look in photos, so I say the more colorful the better.... but I am certainly not a stylist! Also remember if you have a family shoot that you don't want to wear identical outfits.The key is to coordinate, but not match completely.

How many photos will I get?
The average number of photos from your session will be 20-30. There may be some instances where you will get less; if we have a difficult session or unhappy babies/newborns :) Hey, it happens.
For Seasonal Mini Sessions that are offered the average number of photos is 4-6, unless otherwise stated.

Where should I print my photos?
I strongly encourage you to get them printed professionally, but since I know this isn't always possible then I suggest using mpix.com
Your print release and the resolution that the photos are set at only allow you to print up to an 8x10 from your CD. Any prints larger than that will require an order through me with my professional print lab. Trust me, it's worth it if you are going to be hanging large prints. You want the quality of your photos that you display to be perfect!

When will I get my pictures?
You can expect an online "sneak peek" within 1-2 days after your shoot. If you ordered the digital images, you can expect a downloadable gallery within about 2 weeks. Prints usually take around a week once they are ordered.
How should I prepare for a Newborn Session?
This one is easy! Less is more. Naked babies or simple solid colored onesies are best.
I have many blankets, backdrops, baskets, hats, headbands and other newborn accessories at your disposal, but please feel free to have any special mementos, blankets, outfits, or props you want, and I will definitely work them into your session! :)
It is also a good idea to have the baby fed and changed before arriving for your session. A content baby with a full belly will help us get those sweet sleepy shots.
